When I joined, TokenProof’s Bubble-based backend centered on event creation, while brands wanted to offer exclusive access, membership benefits, and rewards. I designed the new portal from scratch, establishing its structure across Events, Campaigns, Authentication, Experiences, Token Gates, Integration, and Settings. Within that broader work, one key challenge was making complex eligibility rules understandable and configurable by brand teams.

The portal had to accommodate organization-wide tasks alongside the details of an individual experience. I established shared navigation across product areas, dedicated workflows within events, and organization settings for team members and payment configuration. This separated the different levels of work while keeping them within a consistent application structure, giving the expanding platform a foundation beyond a single event flow.

A requirement is easier to understand beside the experience it controls. I brought tickets, token rules, and checkout decisions into one continuous event-creation flow, with restricted availability revealing additional controls only when needed. Operators moved through chain, collection, quantity, and traits while selected attributes stayed visible as chips. The configuration kept the ticket and its requirements in context, giving operators a clearer view of their choices before publishing.

Eligibility is not static. Someone could qualify when claiming a ticket and no longer hold the required collectible when they arrived. Organizers could choose whether check-in required continued ownership or only a valid ticket, alongside controls for claim limits, capacity, and re-entry. These choices made timing part of the design problem: operators needed to understand both what qualified someone and when that qualification would be checked.

The customer encountered the result of a rule long before presenting a credential. On event pages, I kept gated tiers visible with a locked state and View Requirements, making eligibility understandable before checkout. On mobile, the experience centered on a credential the person could present for verification. Designing both sides meant carrying the brand’s intent through what customers could discover, claim, and use.

The platform's broader deployments made the expansion tangible. Tampa Bay Rowdies used digital season passes for 20% discounts on food and merchandise. Moverz connected membership benefits across 30 breweries, reporting more than 4,000 beers redeemed by August 28, 2023.
At SheFi, 172 of 208 attendees participated in a program connecting attendance collectibles to rewards. These partner experiences extended TokenProof beyond admission into recurring benefits, physical redemption, and participation rewards.

The cleanest controls still had limits. All and Any made individual requirements readable, but nested combinations made the relationships between groups harder to express. I would map compound rules and unsupported combinations earlier, then decide which the interface should allow, explain, or prevent. Expanding the product taught me that a usable configuration model needs clear boundaries as well as room to grow.
